Yes, it’s back. The Troy Transit Center will be discussed and with Flemming essentially eating his lies, will be backing the new resolution….unless of course he decides to live up to his word and still votes against it. I won’t be holding my breath but should he be the deciding vote to bring back the Transit Center, I will get copies of what he had previously said and then show what a Liar he has become…or was he always a Liar!!!! Stay tuned. And this from a past Elder at a Church.

Oh by the way, the previous vote by city council was the Right Vote…just not for the right reasons. I posted this as a comment on Dave Lamberts blog [don't know if he will accept it since he has rejected my last three comments] “The question really should be “Do we really need a Transit Center?” The reality is we do not. No business has provided any details as to how a Transit Center will benefit them. They haven’t because it won’t. The ridership does not justify building a transit center, now or in the near foreseeable future. Than why has the Federal Government provided the money. STIMULUS money. It doesn’t matter whether a project is needed, the only question that STIMULUS money requires is will it be shovel ready today and completed in 2 years. The Troy City Council voted the right way for the wrong reasons when it decided to stop the project. To bad Stimulus money can only be given for shovel ready projects that are needed and not just Pork.“

With the demise of my web site, I have decided to utilize a more convenient way to share the truth with the world concerning some of the shenanigans being instigated by our fair leaders in the City of Troy, Michigan. This blog will be dedicated to expose the Liars and Lawbreakers of Troy [we may extend to examples of abusing the Law that are not directing violating the law but violating the intent of the Law]. As I learn the capabilities of this blog site, you may notice that blog posts may be moved around so that people can find quickly what they are looking for.

If you have “documented” examples that qualify as either Lies or Lawbreaking by either City Management or City Council members, please contact me and provide me with a copy of your incriminating evidence. If you don’t have documentation, you can still provide me with the details and I may be able to obtain the corroborating documentation needed to provide the evidence of Lying or Lawbreaking.

So lets get started.

Everyone lies at one time or another so they say. Everyone will break a law knowingly or unknowingly maybe intentionally maybe not. We are human after all. But when it is done by the governing body of the city or city management and it is done intentionally with full knowledge that they are lying or breaking the law, we have a big problem.

The free online Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines lawbreaker as: “A person who violates the Law”. They define Liar as: “A person who tells lies”. They define lie as: “1) to make an untrue statement with intent to deceive. 2) a: to create a false or misleading impression b: to bring about by telling lies.

I feel very confident that as you read what I write that you to will see why this blog is called “Liars & Lawbreakers”.

2011-2012 TBRA Budget violations

As a member of the Troy Brownfield Redevelopment Authority [TBRA], I tried to keep our Authority from violating the law governing us [I no longer am a member as I decided enough was enough]. I was successful in several attempts including stopping the collecting of the debt service millage that was prohibited by state statute, the return of the school millage collected that was in violation of city ordinance creating the TBRA as well as violating the state statute prohibiting the collection unless certain requirements were met that were not met, but was not successful in my last attempt to stop the state law violations.

Below you will find the emails and attachments that I sent to stop this law violation from occurring but the 5 Lawbreakers on City Council would not act or say anything concerning this issue. The only words spoken by them was Mayor Pro Tem Beltramini thanking management for their memo that contained false information. False information that I had sent the documentation proving was false and yet Mayor Pro Tem Beltramini ignored the facts and thanked them for the false information. This did not surprise me since I have had previous discussions with Ms. Beltramini concerning falsification of TBRA Meeting Minutes which after she looked into it said that she would do nothing and that I should do what I have to do. I did and the falsified minutes were corrected [I should dig up my documentation on this issue and present it so you can get a better feel of what lengths management will go to in providing false information even when caught. Alas, I may have since destroyed them since the false minutes were finally corrected and I had terminated my role on the Authority].

When you read the emails and attachments I sent the city council, city management and city attorney, you be the Judge and decide whether:

1): Did the City Manager and his staff provide city council with false information?

2) Did 5 members of city council [Mayor Schilling, Mayor Pro Tem Beltramini, Councilpersons Kerwin, Slater and McGinnis] knowingly violate state law given the information that I provided them?

Let me know whether you agree or disagree on whether city management intentionally lied to city council by providing false information concerning when the Revolving Loan Fund was created & whether the 5 members of city council knowingly broke the law concerning the legal and proper use of TIF Revenues captured and placed into the Revolving Loan Fund.

{***Corrections Submitted to 2011-2012 TBRA Budget Violations

In my June 5, 2011 email to city council I made two typo errors that I did not catch when I sent the emails. The first is my typing “MCL 125.266″ and leaving off the third 6. It should be “MCL 125.2666″. The second typo was the resolution creating the Revolving Loan Fund. The city council passed two resolutions #2001-09-442 and #2001-09-443 concerning the Grand/Sakwa Brownfield Plan during their September 10, 2001 city council meeting. 442 was the first amendment to the plan and 443 was the resolution creating the Local Site Remediation Revolving Fund. I referenced 442 as the resolution creating the fund when it was 443. However both resolutions were attached.***}
